Job Overview:
Burkhead Electric is looking for a dedicated and experienced Journeyman Electrician to lead and execute electrical projects in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Key Responsibilities:-
Mentor and develop apprentices, fostering a culture of accountability and high quality performance.-
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems to meet or exceed National Electrical Code standards.-
Take ownership of projects, ensuring precision and adherence to Burkhead Electric's craftsmanship standards.-
Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.-
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in work areas, vehicles, and equipment.-
Stay current with industry best practices through training and certifications.
Qualifications:-
Valid Iowa Journeyman Electrician license (required).-
Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical trade. (required)-
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, tools, materials, and safety protocols.-
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.-
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 80 lbs., working overhead, ladder, confined spaces, standing/kneeling for extended periods).-
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Work Schedule:-
