We are seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to join our team as an IT Specialist / Computer Systems Analyst .
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Serve as System Administrator for the Naval Ship Tracking, Reporting, and Analysis Tool (NSTRAT), monitoring application and service performance, and troubleshooting issues affecting system availability
Perform software engineering and testing to develop NSTRAT updates in response to evolving DoD/DON directives, including quarterly STIG updates, corrective maintenance, and capability enhancements
Conduct cybersecurity engineering tasks in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure system security and compliance
Interface with FLANKSPEED hosting services to submit, track, and resolve NSTRAT system trouble tickets
Manage database functions including entry, administration, automated backup monitoring, and performance oversight
Support database access requests, provide user support, and distribute data to requesting or supported commands
Conduct database query analysis to identify and address operational needs
Requirements
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of U.S. Navy experience managing Navy computer networks
At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server Database software
Active and maintainable certifications/training to hold FLANKSPEED IL6 AZURE Privileged Access, including:
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8750 Approved Baseline Certifications
Any other certifications required by FLANKSPEED IL6 services
U.S. Citizen
Desired Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including administration and configuration
Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity compliance processes and RMF documentation
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional technical teams in Navy or DoD environments
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
