We are seeking a personable, proactive IT Staffing Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with a key enterprise client in the northern New Jersey area. This individual will regularly visit client offices across New Jersey, building in-person connections with hiring managers, identifying project-based hiring needs, and ensuring successful talent delivery. The ideal candidate is local to the area, thrives on face-to-face interaction, and enjoys building partnerships within large organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Onsite Client Engagement: Visit client locations 1-2 times per week to "walk the halls," build visibility, and connect directly with hiring managers to stay ahead of talent needs.
Client Relationship Management: Act as the go-to contact for hiring teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and strong client satisfaction.
Internal Networking: Build new relationships within departments and uncover internal hiring opportunities through proactive engagement and presence.
Strategic Consultation: Understand client business and technical environments to deliver tailored staffing solutions that align with their goals.
Recruiting Partnership: Collaborate with ATP recruiters to match candidates to open roles quickly and accurately, ensuring a smooth experience for all stakeholders.
Market Awareness: Stay informed of client initiatives, staffing trends, and industry changes to anticipate future business needs.
Sales Activity & CRM: Document all client touchpoints and business activity in CRM systems for accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting.
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in account management, staffing sales, or business development-preferably within IT or technical staffing.
Local to the Parsippany, NJ area with reliable transportation for client visits northern New Jersey.
Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, approachable presence in professional settings.
Track record of identifying new lines of business or client contacts through in-person relationship-building.
Familiarity with IT roles, functions, and terminology.
Proactive, consultative, and driven to provide value at every client interaction.
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing in-person visits and remote work.
CRM experience a plus (e.g., Bullhorn, Salesforce, HubSpot).
