Infrastructure engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled engineer to join the cloud and data center infrastructure team with at least 10 years of systems development, deployment, and related operations experience. The candidate must have experience with distributed systems, open source development, agile development methods, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
System integration and distributed system debugging
Research and selection of distributed systems components
CI/CD pipeline development and integration
Contribution to and participation in open source projects
Scalability and reliability engineering, testing, and analysis
Reporting and presentations
Mandatory Skills:
Deep experience in one or more of the following areas:
Virtualization and virtualization management (OpenStack, etc.)
Cloud storage systems (block and object)
Networking and SDN
Security and AAA in a private cloud
Data pipelines and analytics, log collection and analysis
Extensive experience and expertise in Linux-based high-performance, highly available systems development
Required Degree: Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Excellent written and communication skills, capable of delivering presentations and technical papers
Practical experience contributing to open source projects
Design, development, and deployment experience with large-scale systems
Deep knowledge of tools and frameworks used by the open source community
Desirable: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
Desirable: Practical experience with Go programming language
Desirable: Building systems on public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCE, etc.)
Highly desired: Building public cloud infrastructure

Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000
