Job Summary:

As a Hardware Systems Engineer and Lab Manager, you will be working to ensure we deliver our customers stable and industry leading hardware appliances as well as the managing the lab infrastructure used to develop and test them. The ideal candidate is someone who cares deeply about the quality of his work and is passionate about technology and pushing the boundaries of what modern compute can achieve. We’re looking for someone who is also detail oriented and can manage and maintain a complex lab network of physical and virtual equipment used for both hardware and software development.

This is a 100% on-site position, offering daily collaboration, hands-on mentorship, and direct access to cutting-edge lab environments—ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.  Duties & Responsibilities: Duties/Responsibilities : System design and component lifecycle management of our hardware appliance offerings Prototyping of latest/greatest hardware platforms and components (CPU, GPU, RAID, RAM, HDD/SSD, etc) Interfacing with our manufacturing facility to assist with production scripting, build process, factory OS/SW images, and troubleshooting Perform lab specific activities – racking/un-racking equipment, setup, configuration, maintenance, imaging Design and maintain equipment inventory tracking and deployment Design and maintain lab network infrastructure and deployment schemes – servers, routers, switches, packet brokers, Viavi products, network traffic and flow generators Assist with product CI/CD process and systems that support it Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: Basic Qualifications : 5+ Years of relevant experience in building or troubleshooting computer hardware and software 3+ Years Experience in lab management and inventory management Experience in computer component selection An understanding of how computer components impact overall system/software performance Networking knowledge – understanding of LAN/WAN, IP addressing, firewalls, switches, routers Cloud/Virtual environment deployment/maintenance Scripting skills (python, bash, batch, powershell, VB, etc) Experience with imaging and deployment tools (SCCM, MDT, Clonezilla, etc) A self-starter with a drive for digging into and understanding how things work Passion for continual improvement Desire to be part of a winning Agile team Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively Ability to be on-site 5 days per week Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Attention to detail and a desire to maintain a neat and tidy workspace Preferred Qualifications : Strong knowledge of networking - TCP/IP Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, XRay, Bamboo, Confluence and BitBucket tools Familiarity with CI/CD environments that supports the software development lifecycle Project management Experience creating and curating documentation outlining best practices, SOPs, network diagrams etc If you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.
