BAE Systems is hiring an experienced Human Resources Project Manager to lead HR projects and initiatives within the Ordnance (OSI) business. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of HR projects, working closely with HR leadership and personally leading teams to deliver successful project outcomes and drive business results.
:
Serve as the lead Project Manager for various HR projects, responsible for leading and directing indirect resources to deliver successful project outcomes
Manage project scope, performance, and resources to achieve objectives, keeping the HR Director and key stakeholders informed of project status, risks, delays, and change management concerns
Lead recurring status meetings to ensure projects stay on schedule and provide guidance and support to project team members as needed
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications
Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for HR Director and key stakeholders
Develop or facilitate effective change management plans for all projects, ensuring that individuals impacted by changes receive timely and relevant communication or training
Assist the business HR Director in a supporting capacity, coordinating inputs, completing ad hoc tasks, and facilitating communication across the HR team and with other stakeholders
Work collaboratively with HR team members and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes and effective execution of HR initiatives
Stay abreast of HR and project management trends, best practices, and internal lessons learned with a focus on continuous improvement
Make timely decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and 6 years of work experience or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience managing Human Resources projects as the PM in charge, including leading and directing team members to deliver project objectives
Proven track record delivering HR projects on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards
Experience with project management methodologies, toolsets, processes, and governance
Ability to develop and implement effective project plans, track deliverables, and manage risks
Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to groups at varying levels and build strong relationships across a geographically diverse HR team
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Proficiency in M365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
Education and/or certifications from recognized external organizations, such as PMP, are a plus
Proficiency with M365 specialized apps such as Teams, Lists, MS Power Automate, etc.
Experience with various types of HR systems, data, and processes
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $90373 - $153634
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
