We're currently looking for a Human Resources & Benefits Coordinator to join our People Operations team in Fairfield, NJ (Hybrid) . If you're ready to make an impact behind the scenes and grow your career at a people-first firm, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in supporting our employees and keeping our HR operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day may include:
Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
Administering employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life, and 401(k)
Serving as a key point of contact for benefits-related questions and vendor communications
Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, HR policies, and documentation standards
Managing employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality
Supporting pre-employment screenings, orientation sessions, and employee status changes
Partnering with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions and timely updates
Assisting with performance management, employee relations, and other HR programs
Providing responsive HR support across teams and helping improve internal processes
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who's passionate about people and thrives in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
3+ years of HR experience, with a strong focus on benefits administration and onboarding
Working knowledge of employee benefit plans and regulatory compliance (COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, etc.)
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms (UKG experience a plus)
A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
