Housing Case Manager (Bachelor's Required)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our nonprofit client with a Housing Case Manager position in the South LA area. This position will be 100% onsite, and a contract-to-hire, full-time opportunity.
This position will be assisting our client's program participants throughout their housing journey, intaking them into our client's interim housing site, helping them to stabilize and receive supportive services, and support them through their journey of finding a permanent housing environment.
Interested candidates must feel comfortable working with homeless demographic, including individuals who are experiencing mental health and substance abuse ailments.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree required (NO exceptions)
Minimum 2 years case management/social services experience
Proficiency working within HMIS and Microsoft Office
Bilingual Spanish/English strongly desired, not required
Skills Empathy and compassion towards others while being able to maintain a professional boundary
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with a wide array of individuals
Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to de-escalate appropriately in high-pressure situations
Tech savvy and can work within multiple software systems
