Occupational Health Nurse Role "> The Occupational Health Nurse will collaborate with Human Resources to address associate health matters. This role involves assisting employees with health issues and playing a key part in the hospital's wellness initiative to prevent health problems. "> This position ensures compliance with State of Texas, DHH, ADA, and Joint Commission regulations related to employee health. "> Perform duties protecting confidentiality and not disclosing confidential information unless necessary for job duties. "> Provide employee health nursing services and monitor adherence to requirements for initial health assessments. "> Assist associates returning to work after health-related absences. "> Manage medical issues related to Worker's Compensation. "> Oversee compliance with random drug screen programs. "> Administer annual TB skin tests and ensure mask fittings for associates. "> Lead the annual biometric screening program for Healthy Habits. "> Evaluate and ensure compliance with DHH and Joint Commission policies regarding Employee Health.
