Company Blue Monkey is a rapidly growing beverage brand that sells a unique portfolio of Better for You products in the USA, Canada, and other International Markets. Products include a line of natural, organic, and sparkling tropical fruit beverages, as well as coconut water.
In 2025, Blue Monkey Beverage partnered with Boyne Capital, a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies and support them in achieving their next phase of growth.
Position Summary Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Sales will lead and execute growth initiatives across North America. This executive will shape the overall sales strategy, drive aggressive revenue targets, and build a high-performing sales organization as the company scales. The ideal candidate will bring a strong record of accomplishment in the non-alcoholic beverage industry, with significant experience in channel development across club, grocery, specialty retail, convenience, and food service. This executive will also play a key role in cultivating strategic customer, supplier, retail, and other relationships to establish a robust DSD model. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a strategic, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a passion for scaling BFY/emerging consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets Cultivate and expand relationships with key accounts, brokers, distributors, DSD network, and strategic partners Develop and manage sales KPIs, annual sales goals, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with the CEO Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and customer insights to form short/long-term strategies Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction Build, mentor, manage and scale a high-performance sales infrastructure/team
Requirements 10+ years of proven CPG/beverage (non-alcoholic) sales experience, with at least 5 years at the VP level/or similar Strong expertise in pricing, promotion, trade expenditure, forecasting/product planning, and go-to-market execution Success developing club, grocery, specialty retail, convenience, food service, and DSD channels Ability to travel to customers and to HQ located in Charlestown, MA Demonstrates a commanding and credible leadership presence
Preferred Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field Demonstrated success in building effective CPG sales infrastructure and team(s) BFY better-for-you category experience Experience working in a rapidly growing, private equity-sponsored environment
