*Responsibilities*
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation standards.
* Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Maintain inventory control, ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards in food handling and preparation.
* Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
* Manage shift schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak service times.
* Monitor food quality during preparation and service, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in kitchen management or as a Head Chef in a fine dining establishment.
* Strong knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and culinary techniques.
* Experience in supervising culinary staff, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Familiarity with food service management principles, including inventory control and cost management.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
* A passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development and food styling.
