A supportive workplace where you are valued, trusted, and appreciated. Essential Job Functions: Conduct site inspections across the property and maximize revenue by selling hotel services to clients. Prepare weekly resumes and event orders, coordinate with departments, and submit activity reports. Manage account details, ensuring proper solicitation and closing documentation, and coordinate department participation. Deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients. Travel locally to promote the hotel, conduct outside calls, and review competitors. Meet with and entertain clients to develop potential business. Represent the hotel at trade shows, including setting up exhibits. Communicate effectively with staff verbally and in writing. Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities: Provide information to colleagues and supervisors via various communication methods. Demonstrate integrity, effective listening, confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. Manage conflicts and inform relevant parties timely. Organize and present ideas clearly and concisely. Apply problem-solving skills for decision-making and follow-up. Make collection calls if necessary. Education and Experience: Experience in Marriott Hotel Sales preferred; familiarity with CI/TY and Lightspeed is a plus.
