We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for locum coverage in Bay City, Michigan. This opportunity is at a reputable healthcare facility that prides itself on providing quality patient care. • Provide 24-hour call coverage from Monday 7am to Friday 7pm.
• Perform ERCP procedures as required.
• Collaborate with hospitalist support team and two local colorectal surgeons.
• Manage consultations and outpatient care at a GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital.
• Ensure effective communication with patients and families regarding treatment plans.

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (no board-eligible candidates accepted).
• Current Michigan Medical License is required (IMLC accepted under specific conditions).
• Experience with ERCP procedures is mandatory.
• Local providers preferred; travel costs for out-of-state candidates may not be covered.
• Documentation of vaccination status, including COVID-19 and flu vaccines.

• Active DEA registration at the time of start.
• Clean malpractice history is required for quick credentialing.
• All relevant immunizations to be documented (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TB, TDAP).
• 1-2 step TB skin test or Quantiferon test results within specified timeframes.
