The Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in planning and delivering tailored physical therapy treatments for patients, adhering to the standards of professional practice and our healthcare values. A Brief Overview Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing individualized treatment plans while ensuring high standards of care. What You Will Do Conduct initial assessments of patients’ physical therapy needs. Implement treatment plans based on patient assessments. Monitor and assess patient progress through ongoing observation and record reviews. Identify patients' educational needs regarding rehabilitation and provide appropriate guidance. Proactively seek opportunities for self-development and enhance your professional skills. Education/Formal Training Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. Work Experience Requirements No prior experience is necessary. Licenses and Certifications Requirements Licensed Physical Therapist - Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex written materials, including patient records. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with Associates, physicians, and other professionals. Ability to work independently and display sound judgment. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain workflow efficiency. Supervision Provided by this Position This position has no supervisory responsibilities but may guide and direct therapy assistants. Physical Demands Physical activities may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motions. Good balance and coordination are required. This role involves medium-level physical demands - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently. Close visual acuity is required for patient assessments and data analysis. Frequent patient interaction, including exposure to body fluids and potential hazards. Ability to react swiftly in emergency situations is crucial.
