We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night position in our Med/Surg Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a compassionate team focused on patient-centered care.
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Shift Differential: Eligible for added compensation for night shifts.
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 available!
Weekend and holiday rotation required, but no call is needed.

Our facility is a 227-bed hospital renowned for acute care and offers specialized programs in cardiology, orthopedics, surgical services, emergency care, oncology, and maternal health. Our facility is the only stroke center in our area and a nationally accredited chest pain center.
Position Summary: As an RN, you will provide exceptional patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaboration with providers and healthcare professionals is essential to ensure effective care and positive outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centric care in line with protocols and the nursing process.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and report any changes in health status.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor for any adverse reactions.
Assist medical personnel during procedures, based on your documented skills.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate and evaluate personalized care plans.
Respond to emergencies and participate in critical interventions.
Advocate for patients’ rights and needs, engaging them in their care plans.
Provide education to patients and families on medical conditions and aftercare.
Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment.
Optimize patient safety by adhering to national safety goals.
Engage in performance improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
Document care and outcomes accurately in patient records.
Continue professional development to stay current in nursing practices and regulations.
Perform additional duties as necessary in accordance with facility protocols.
Qualifications:
0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or relevant student clinical rotations.
Skills and Knowledge:
Solid understanding of nursing principles and practices.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and effectively communicate findings.
Proficiency in medication administration.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration in a team setting.
Attention to detail and organization in documentation.
Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement efforts.
Licensure and Certification Required:
Active RN state license or compact state licensure.
BCLS certification (Basic Life Support) is mandatory.
ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications are preferred.
