Albany Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team! This is a 40-hour per week position with the following hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm . We are excited to offer a recruitment and retention bonus of up to $3,500! Key Responsibilities: Administer and accurately record vaccines. Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate. Accurately and legibly input information into patient records in a timely manner. Ensure a smooth and timely patient flow throughout the office. Prepare patients for their visits according to office and provider requirements. Collect specimens (e.g., urine, blood) as directed by the provider. Ensure accurate and prompt order entry into the lab system. Perform clinical office procedures as assigned by the provider (including PFT, EKG, nebulizer treatments, medication administration, and immunizations). Assist in processing patient prescriptions. Compensation: $21.75 - $31.00 per hour We are willing to offer starting pay at $30.00 per hour for experienced or fully qualified candidates. Requirements: Valid NYS LPN license. Experience as an LPN in a medical practice or as a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Tech. Strong computer skills and experience using EMR software. Understanding of basic nursing principles and protocols. Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality. Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality and discretion. Familiarity with medical chart reporting and records. Skilled in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
