Position: Aluminum Cutting Saw Operator

Location: North Fort Worth

Type: Full-time, Production Role

Shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Pay Range: $18

Key Responsibilities

Operate aluminum saws efficiently and safely to meet daily production targets. Measure materials using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure exact cuts. Adjust machine settings including blade tension, cutting speed, and blade angle to maintain optimal performance. Inspect incoming materials for damage and confirm proper thickness before cutting. Monitor saw performance and troubleshoot any mechanical issues as they arise. Arrange finished pieces for packaging or the next stage of processing. Follow safety guidelines rigorously to prevent injuries and maintain a secure workspace.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience required in operating saws, preferably with aluminum or other metals. Proficiency in measurement tools (rulers, calipers, micrometers) and basic math for accurate cuts. Strong physical stamina to lift/move materials and stand throughout your shift. High attention to detail to meet tight tolerances and quality standards. Problem-solving mindset to handle small machine malfunctions independently. Clear communication skills for effective teamwork and understanding of job instructions. Commitment to safety and adherence to all plant policies and procedures.
