As a Substitute Paraprofessional, you will provide essential support to classroom teachers and assist students with special needs, fostering their academic and personal growth. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the learning experience for individual students and small groups. Responsibilities include: Providing instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups. Helping the teacher with classroom management and supervision. Assisting with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials. Supervising students during lunch, in the schoolyard, on field trips, and during before and after school programs. Attending to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs. Supporting students with special needs by implementing their IEPs/504 Plans. Performing other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing). Compensation: $13-$22/hr
