. Job Description Summary
The Finance & Business Operations Associate role provides an outstanding opportunity to help drive the operational cadence of the business, assist in business case and product team financial analyses, and support corporate development efforts. The position will report directly to the Director of Finance and Business Operations. Success in this role requires skill in the business case and valuation modeling and the opportunity to partner across the business to drive insights into financial and operational outcomes.
Job Duties
Work across the business to identify, define and track key performance metrics aligned to delivering the operating and strategic plans
Produce clear and concise reports and presentations for senior leadership, including monthly operating reviews, board reporting and other ad hoc requests
Partner closely with FP&A, Corporate Strategy and Product Teams to enhance cross-functional business and analytical capabilities and processes to improve financial and operational outcomes
Partner with Investor Relations to prepare key messages, metrics, and presentations for quarterly earnings calls. Conduct analysis of sell-side and buy-side models
Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and projects as needed
High exposure to senior leadership
Support the assessment of acquisition opportunities, preparation of valuation and financial analysis/modeling
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, or related field, required
2-5 years of finance and/or business operations experience, including experience in corporate finance roles including, but not limited to, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Venture Capital and/or Investment Banking
Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analysis
Familiarity with accounting and key operational metrics applicable to SaaS business
High attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
Adept with technology with strong Excel skills
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong sense of collaboration, ownership, urgency, and client commitment
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
