Clean Harbors is excited to invite applications for the position of Field Services Business Development Manager within our Environmental Sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our Field Services business by acquiring new clients and strengthening relationships with existing ones within your assigned territory. As a seasoned professional, you'll work to build strong connections with high-value customers, driving market share and increasing profitable revenue in Field Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safety practices and policies, consistently acting in a safe manner.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing accounts and new clients.
Map opportunities in all owned accounts to grow business within existing customers.
Maintain ongoing communication with customers and prospects to increase service utilization and awareness of Clean Harbors' capabilities.
Collaborate with other key account managers to enhance access to corporate clients.
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Prepare and manage the annual Sales Revenue Budget.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with local branches, advocating for necessary operational adjustments.
Assist in the collection of revenues due from customers.
Utilize company tools to track activities and identify strategies for cross-selling and enhancing customer loyalty.
Manage sales expenses effectively.
Keep daily oversight on sales activities and outcomes.
Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements.
Transfer established customers to farmers roles to maintain focus on acquiring new business.
Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts and new business opportunities.
Perform other duties as required by management based on business needs.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and advance partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to meet program objectives and maximize profitable revenue.
Sales Strategy Execution: Identify and pursue opportunities to increase customer spending, target new leads, negotiate contracts, and align resources to ensure sustainable and profitable revenue growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in sales development and management, particularly in high-level accounts.
Proven track record of achieving multi-million-dollar sales quotas.
Solid experience in developing and executing sales strategies, including customer targeting and relationship management.
Adept at identifying, creating, and closing business deals and developing market presence.
Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen to navigate complex situations.
Senior-level experience overseeing various states, regions, and accounts in the industry; comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics.
Ability to influence and develop strong internal relationships and sales support teams.
Outstanding negotiation skills and commitment to following through on contracts.
Highly energetic and sociable with exceptional teamwork capabilities.
Strategic thinking and excellent communication skills for engaging with senior management.
Familiarity with environmental regulations and services like RCRA, DOT, CERCLA, and emergency response preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Self-motivated and capable of achieving goals while uniting cross-functional teams for revenue generation.
Expertise in strategic and conceptual selling techniques.
Analytical skills and experience in project management.
Flexibility to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
Willingness to travel 30-50% as necessary.
