DESCRIPTION Technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to engine products at the customers site. Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIES In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs

Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls

Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components

Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation

Technician Level III: Significant relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on most or all of products in-scope for a technician at this location; frequently engaged in complex diagnosis and repair; requires minimal to no supervision; ability to effectively train and guide less experienced technicians of varying skillsets.

QUALIFICATIONS Active daily participation in safety processes

Thorough documentation of repairs including record unit information and detailed steps as necessary.

Timely submission of service documentation.

Frequent communication with customer and supervisor when working remotely.

Independent management/reconciliation of compony issues credit cards.

Position subject to alternative work schedule in order to meet the needs of the customer(5/4 rotation) on-call, occasional night shifts)

Proactive scheduling of PTO/time off.

Flexibility in short notice scheduling changes including out of town assignments.

Attention to clean work habits at the end of shift and throughout the shift.

Complying to federal DOT laws while operating company vehicles - including ELD devices.

Professionally communicating/representing Cummins to the customer.

Complying with management directives as needed in support of business operations.

DOT A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire

Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older

A current valid license is required for this role

This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical

3 years driving experience

This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
