Position Details
Position Title: Field Operations Manager (Mitigation Operations)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Hot Springs, AR
Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day field operations of the mitigation department. This includes overseeing scheduling, labor efficiency, job cycle time, team performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance with SERVPRO® standards. You will lead with clarity, coach for success, and ensure that every job is completed efficiently and professionally.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
Leadership & Accountability: Provide clear expectations and guidance to all team members.
Lead daily/weekly team meetings to review performance and address challenges (WIP, L10).
Ensure consistent performance standards are upheld and coach for improvement when necessary.
Schedule & Labor Management: Create and manage the daily and weekend mitigation schedule to align with project priorities and staffing availability.
Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate urgent needs without disrupting productivity.
Track and optimize Daily Labor Efficiency Ratio (DLER) in HomeBase; review Schedule A’s and estimates daily.
Operational Oversight: Oversee all job progress to ensure service quality and that job cycle times are met.
Complete and review RM Sheets daily.
Audit job files for completeness, compliance, and documentation accuracy.
Training & Development: Implement and maintain effective training plans for production technicians and supervisors.
Regularly evaluate training impact and adapt plans to ensure ongoing development.
Ensure compliance with SERVPRO’s People Analyzer.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise production technicians and mitigation supervisors.
Monitor individual performance and provide coaching as needed.

Education and Experience
Previous experience in a restoration, construction, or service-based operations management role required.
Experience in team leadership and employee development strongly preferred.
SERVPRO or industry-specific certifications a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move equipment, materials, and debris weighing up to 50 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various work environments
Comfortable working in confined spaces, high heat, humidity, or cold conditions, as well as areas with debris, mold, or water damage
Ability to operate and maneuver heavy machinery, tools, and equipment
Capable of wearing and working in personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, and suits, for extended periods
Frequent use of hands and arms for handling materials, cleaning, and equipment operation
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary
Strong stamina and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks for extended shifts
Ability to operate a motor vehicle
