Fastnet Fiber Installer Technician Objectives To optimize the productivity level of a skilled team engaged in the home installation and maintenance of the fiber network. Reporting Relationships Reports to the Manager of Outside Fiber and Networking Supervision of None Responsibilities and Authorities Install new and existing fiber-optic wiring per company guidelines. The use of Power tools. Ability to use a personal computer, mobile device, and software applications.

Install and configure all in-home equipment. Troubleshooting and repairing Fiber drops during service calls. Review all requested services with the customer. Interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner at all times. Provide customer product education. Assist Fiber Maintenance Techs with troubleshooting when needed. Clean the work area upon completion of the job. Overhead lifting, climbing & Carrying ladders with a minimum weight of 25 lbs. to 75 lbs. Working in a confined space. Working in Inclement weather. Working odd hours at times. Walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching. Perform all other duties as assigned or directed. Has a thorough knowledge of all applicable safety regulations and can administer first aid, including artificial respiration. Able to instruct those they supervise in all phases of these items. WILL OBSERVE ALL SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS AS REQUIRED Relationships Internal Warehouse Personnel - to obtain materials for performing duties and return unused materials. Other Employees - to gain knowledge and skill from the experience of others; to display and encourage team effort for maximum efficiency and productivity; to

assist other 4-County/FastNet personnel in effectively fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of this position.
