Primary Care Physician Locum Tenens (VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinics)

Locum Tenens Outpatient Only Monday Friday

Overview:
MedCare Staffing is seeking Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physicians for locum tenens coverage at Veterans Administration Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). This is an excellent opportunity to serve our nation's Veterans in an outpatient-only setting.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Patient Volume: 8 12 patients per day
• Setting: 100% outpatient primary care
• Call: None
• Overtime: None
• Environment: Structured, team-based care in a federal facility
• Start Date: Upon completion of credentialing and compliance

Requirements:

• Current CV Must include explanations for any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school
• Board Certification Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Medical License One active, unrestricted state license (verification required)
• DEA Registration
• BLS Certification Must be current and issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Three (3) professional references

Additional Notes:

• Physicians with any prior licensing sanctions or malpractice settlements will not be considered.
• This federal contract allows for ANY state medical license to be accepted.
• Providers must be committed to delivering compassionate, veteran-centered care and comply with VA standards and documentation protocols.
• Must be willing to commit for at least six months
