Overview Teach a course(s) in the MS Data Analytics program with a concentration in Healthcare Analytics. Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department. Responsibilities Teaching program course(s) Preparing lectures, assignments, assessments, and course material as needed for the course(s) Grading assignments, projects, papers, presentations, and/or exams and providing students with valuable and timely feedback Developing or updating the syllabus to reflect what is taught in the course(s) and how it is presented and assessed Collaborating with the Director to implement necessary assessment tools into relevant course materials Qualifications Education, Preparation, and Training Doctoral degree At least one year of teaching experience At least three years of professional experience
Skills Knowledge of the subject matter and online teaching/classroom management skills Data Analytics Mathematics and statistics Healthcare sector data analysis Databases and data modeling Visualization Data mining and data warehousing Healthcare security and privacy policy (e.g., HIPAA) Physical Demands Use of a computer
