Position Purpose

Vibe Credit Union is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part Time Facilities Support Technician to join our Facilities Management team. This position plays a key role in supporting the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for staff and members.

Essential Duties

Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal

Assist in minor repairs such as painting, patching walls, replacing light bulbs, and assembling / moving furniture

Support landscaping and groundskeeping activities including mowing, raking, snow removal, and general outdoor upkeep

Set up and tear down rooms for meetings, events, and other scheduled activities

Assist maintenance technicians and tradespeople as needed

Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly

Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; notify supervisor of low stock

Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Respond to emergency maintenance requests as directed

Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

Basic understanding of computers, smartphones, email.

Previous labor, maintenance, or custodial experience preferred

Skills/Abilities

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manual labor
