We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities in Dayton, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our buildings and grounds. This includes managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and renovations, and implementing cost-saving measures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Site maintenance - The Facilities Manager ensures that all Nova Behavioral Health facilities and grounds are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards and fiscal consideration. Essential Functions Develops, implements, and reviews regularly site-specific maintenance logs for each property Inspects facility and equipment to determine the quality and safety of the facility and equipment, Identifies, troubleshoots/analyzes problems as they arise, provides solutions and initiate repairs. Repairs, replaces, removes blockages to restroom/kitchen facilities, plumbing systems and components (i.e. water, sewer and drain lines, valves, faucets, etc.) Replaces or updates inoperable or older building materials and appliances (e.g. motors, belts, pumps, windows, glass, sinks, doors, locks, cabinets, shelves, tile, light fixtures, switches, receptacles, etc.) Hangs/patches drywall/sheetrock and paints structures and equipment (walls, floors, doors, ceilings, etc.) Lifts and moves furniture within and between buildings Monitor contractor performance Maintain current and accurate records and files Respond to 24-hour emergency calls to perform and/or coordinate emergency building or equipment repairs during off-duty hours. Other duties as assigned. Skills: Proven experience as a Facilities Manager Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices Minimum Education/Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED A minimum of five years of related experience.
