Job Summary:
- As a Glass Fabricator in our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for transforming raw glass materials into finished products according to specifications and quality standards. Your role will involve operating machinery, performing glass cutting and shaping, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of fabricated glass components. This position requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality glass products.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate glass cutting and fabrication machinery, such as cutting tables, edging machines, and CNC equipment.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine glass dimensions, shapes, and specifications.
- Measure and cut glass sheets to precise dimensions using cutting tools and equipment.
- Shape and edge glass edges according to design requirements, using grinding and polishing techniques.
- Apply coatings, treatments, or finishes to glass surfaces as specified in work orders.
- Inspect fabricated glass components for defects, such as chips, scratches, or imperfections.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of glass materials to prevent breakage or damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the glass fabrication area, including disposal of waste materials.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols, equipment maintenance procedures, and company policies at all times.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in glass fabrication is a plus.
- Previous experience in glass manufacturing, fabrication, or related industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of glass cutting, shaping, and edging techniques, including use of specialized tools and equipment.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications accurately.
- Attention to detail and precision in glass fabrication to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in glass fabrication processes.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy glass sheets as needed.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new techniques, processes, and technologies related to glass fabrication.
