Exciting Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated clinical nurse who possesses expertise in wound, ostomy, and continence care to become a vital member of our Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Team. Our passionate team provides comprehensive care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatments in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Role Overview: Deliver specialized nursing care to oncology patients experiencing complex wounds, conduct thorough assessments, and craft individualized treatment plans to enhance wound healing and overall patient outcomes. Collaborate seamlessly with our interdisciplinary team to deliver education, support, and ensure a smooth continuum of care across various treatment stages and follow-ups. Utilize the nursing process effectively for medical and surgical patients who require close monitoring and intensive nursing interventions. Work in partnership with a multi-disciplinary group to foster continuity of care. Provide exceptional patient-centered care to all our patients. Key Qualifications: A minimum of 1.5 years of Clinical RN experience in an acute care environment; experience in wound/ostomy care is highly desired. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience. Active New York State RN License/Registration. BCLS Certification. WOCN certification is preferred. Skilled in decision-making, with a proven record of timely choices that align with nursing care standards. Additional Information: Location: Inpatient and satellite site rotation in NYC (David H. Koch Center and 53rd Street). Shift: Full-time, 10-hour day shift from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential weekend coverage if needed.
