Atrium Health's Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI) is one of the largest Musculoskeletal programs in the country. We have an extensive network of physicians within the institute including spine, ortho, primary care sports medicine, physical medicine, and rehabilitation. Details about the opportunity: Full time opportunity Schedule will be 12 hour shifts M-F 9am-9pm with rotating weekend coverage Outpatient Urgent Care Hours M-F 5pm-9pm; Saturday & Sunday 9am-2pm Office Visits and OR Scheduled with MSKI practice 9am-5pm M-F Ability to perform joint and/or fracture reductions, splinting, bracing, casting, orthopedic injections/aspirations, and local wound care. Ability to independently interpret x-rays and advanced diagnostic imaging. No call coverage Qualifications: Approved to practice as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina. Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required; Master's Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. Must have or be eligible for a DEA license. Eligible for prescriptive authority application through the Medical Board in NC required. BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA required with expiration date greater than 90 days from date of beginning practice.
