About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Fiscal Services to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial, budgeting, accounting, and payroll activities and operations of the District. This senior mid-management position requires a professional with advanced-specialized knowledge in accounting, auditing, and finance, particularly in the education and public sector. The role involves directing the preparation of comprehensive financial analyses and reports, as well as the development of annual operating, capital, and other fund budgets. The Executive Director will also provide expert professional assistance and support on financial, accounting, and related policy and planning matters.

Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 8 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including 3 years in a supervisory management capacity. The role demands a candidate with in-depth knowledge of budget preparation, financial analysis, and research, as well as the ability to manage and integrate the District's financial activities to meet professional standards and legal requirements. Essential skills include the ability to conduct complex financial analyses, supervise and motivate staff, and provide guidance on a wide array of financial matters. Experience with ERP systems and a CPA certificate are desirable.
