Certified Epic Application Analyst - AMB Education/Ambulatory and Cadence
We're hiring Certified Epic Application Analysts with certifications in AMB Education, Ambulatory, and Cadence for a 1099 contract position. This remote role supports a large-scale transition of Community Connect clinics to HOPD status, focusing on BHMA (Behavioral Health Management Application) workflows across diverse clinical environments (including CT and PT). You'll play a key role in leading education, optimizing workflows, and documenting applications, bringing your deep Epic experience and certification to assess workflows, build new applications, and resolve technical issues. You'll partner with end-users to inform build decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and document current BHMA ambulatory workflows
Lead or support workflow optimization and education for end users
Assist in system configuration and ensure alignment with Epic and clinical best practices
Translate clinical and operational requirements into Epic specifications
Collaborate closely with Epic teams, project managers, and stakeholders
Maintain technical documentation and change logs throughout the project lifecycle
Support testing efforts and contribute to training content development
Ensure a deep understanding of ambulatory and behavioral health workflows
Effectively manage time
Required Qualifications
Current AMB Education or Ambulatory Certifications
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a specific module.
2+ years' experience as an Epic Application Analyst supporting ambulatory workflows
Strong understanding of BHMA processes across diverse clinical environments
Proven ability to document workflows, support training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience with Community Connect implementations or large-scale Epic migrations
Ability to identify risk and implement risk mitigation activities.
Up to 10% travel.
Preferred Qualifications
Current Epic Cadence Certification
Experience supporting HOPD conversions or integrated care delivery models
Familiarity with CT and PT clinical workflows
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
