Walker White Mechanical is looking for a motivated and detail-focused Entry-Level Estimator to support ductwork take-offs and assist in project bidding. Whether you’re coming from the field, fresh from school, or shifting into estimating from another construction role, we’ll give you the tools—and mentorship—you need to grow. What You’ll Do: Perform detailed take-offs and quantity surveys for ductwork and other mechanical systems. Assist in developing competitive, accurate project estimates and bid proposals. Read and interpret construction plans, mechanical drawings, and specifications. Collaborate with project managers, the fabrication shop, and field personnel. Communicate clearly and professionally with vendors, team members, and clients. What We’re Looking For: Educational background in mechanical construction, construction management, drafting, or a related field (OR equivalent experience in mechanical construction or HVAC estimating) Ability to interpret blueprints and construction documents (we’ll train you!)
