Opportunity Overview Corporate Title: Vice President Location: Dallas Division: Engineering Division Job Duties Vice President, Software Engineering at Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the firm’s software solutions supporting its global businesses. Design and implement scalable, high-quality technology solutions leveraging internal and open-source services. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration, regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment. Collaborate with internal teams on solution design. Identify new technologies to innovate and disrupt our financial and internal platforms. Engage in all SDLC phases to meet internal and regulatory standards. Design, implement, and maintain testing suites for safe, complete, and scalable solutions. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field with five (5) years of experience, or a Master’s degree with three (3) years of experience in a similar role. Must include experience with: C++ or Java Database query languages such as SQL or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) Full SDLC including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support Additionally, at least two (2) years of experience with: Building multi-threaded and multi-process enterprise applications within Unix environments Microservices architecture, including REST, Spring, or similar back-end technologies Benefits We offer comprehensive health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, disability, life, and travel insurance, tailored to office location.
