Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Position Purpose Endoscopy technicians assist doctors and nurses during endoscopy procedures. They prepare and maintain the instruments and equipment used in endoscopy, including cleaning, disinfecting, and calibrating endoscopy instruments and scopes according to the facility's standards. What you will do: Performs cleaning of endoscopes Assists RNs in the admission process pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and discharge of post-operative patients Maintains sanitary conditions of equipment, work areas, and stretchers Stocks supplies delivered from the hospital store Performs other job-related duties as requested by supervisor or registered nurses Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED from an accredited school is required Graduation from a technical program is preferred Previous experience in an endoscopy setting is preferred BLS certification through AHA is a plus Position Highlights and Benefits: Comprehensive benefit packages are available, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 403B, and education assistance.
