Worksite Setting: Hospital, 15,550-48,150 annual volume, level 2, 3 and 4
Scope of Work: Emergency Medicine
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: BC/BE, Active State license
EMR: Cerner, no scribe coverage
Pay Rate Preferred: $275-$300

Additional Details an Emergency Medicine Physician will want to know about a position:

Residency's Accepted: Pediatric Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine
Alternative boards not accepted
Board certified physicians do not need life support certs
Minimum number of shift acceptable? 2-3 day if local and no travel, 3-4+ days if not local and traveling in for shifts
APP supervision required
Run codes on floor except for SJME
client is willing to pay for travel expenses

Other Details to consider:

Critical Care Need privileges are possible
Privileging time frame 60 days
Onboarding - Will need to schedule an EMR training session prior to first shift for Cerner.
Vaccinations required TB/PPD, Flu, HepB, MMR, Varicella, TDAP, Covid
