Duke University Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking experienced physicians to join their expanding health system. Ideal candidates will have an MD or equivalent medical degree and will be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative emergency medicine faculty group in an outstanding, world class healthcare system.
EM attendings evaluate patients primarily, supervise residents and collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs).
Manage a wide range of critical and emergent conditions across the spectrum of adult emergency care, including trauma, complex medical and surgical emergencies, and high-risk undifferentiated presentations.
Collaborate with specialized multidisciplinary teams including trauma surgery, transplant, oncology, cardiology, and neurology services to deliver cutting-edge care to patients with complex, high-acuity needs.
Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative, team-based care in a diverse, inclusive environment.
Opportunities exist in all Duke locations for emergency medicine physicians, including nocturnists, in the Triangle area.
