A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Arkansas. This facility sees an annual patient volume of 21,500, averaging 2.5 patients per hour across 25 ED beds. Shift times are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with APC coverage from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. There is no scribe support, and the EMR used is Meditech. Physicians are not responsible for admitting orders, and the facility is not designated as a trauma center. To help stabilize the program, 10 locum shifts per month are needed on a short-term basis (36 months), starting in August. There is no specific shift type required, and temporary/emergency privileges are granted.
