Key Responsibilities Available shifts include full-time, part-time, and per diem options! Key job responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) include but are not limited to: Supporting CNAs in performing daily activities and routine care. Administering patient treatments. Dispensing medications according to physician orders and care plans. Processing pharmacy orders. Accurately documenting patient information. Administering prescribed injections. Observing and reporting on resident health to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians. Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight. Providing basic care such as wound cleaning and bandaging. Managing IVs and starting IV drips. Monitoring fluid and food intake/output. Documenting and reporting accidents, incidents, and skin breakdowns. Assisting with the admissions process as needed.
