We are searching for a well-organized, reliable electronics technician to join our excellent company. The electronics technician's responsibilities include diagnosing, cleaning, and repairing electronics. You should be able to provide excellent customer service and manage electronic systems and equipment efficiently.To be successful as an electronics technician, you should demonstrate strong mechanical skills and enjoy performing tasks with your hands. Outstanding electronics technicians can use a wide range of resources to solve problems and feel comfortable working alone and in a team. Along with the restoration process, each tech will be certified to drive the box truck by taking the DOT physical so that they can do the pickup and delivery of electronics and appliances as well. Primary Responsibilities Include:(These are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed. On-site evaluation of damaged electronics from insurance claims involving fire, water, or lightning strike damage. Inventory, remove and transport electronics and appliances from the insured's home/business. Disassemble and evaluate electronics to be cleaned, serviced, and/or repaired. Test, clean, restore, and reassemble electronics to pre-loss condition. Deliver and reinstall appliances and consumer electronics within the insured home or business. Able to travel for up to two weeks for corporate training if needed. Comfortable being on-call for immediate deployment to job site for non-scheduled work requirements as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays. Requirements Include: Fantastic customer service skills. Able to interact one-on-one with the customer within their own homes. Capable of de-escalating tense situations with customers. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Exhibit a professional, neat, and clean appearance. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of basic PC and iPad operations. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Successfully completed a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Pass the DOT physical.
