SiteWise LLC. has been awarded a maintenance contract with the City of Amarillo, TX.

We are looking to hire an electric meter technician to provide a variety of services surrounding Xcel Energy's electric meters in and around the City of Amarillo, TX

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Driving (50 - 75 % a day) and navigating throughout the service area for the City of Amarillo, Texas

Entering residential and commercial property to access the electric meters to perform required work

Exchanging electric meters to the new AMI electric meter

Working with energized electric equipment

Providing customer service with responsibility and humility

Working with pride and a high quality of workmanship

traveling up to 50 % of the time though Amarillo, Plainview, Lubbock and Seminole Texas. Other Duties/Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job. Experience: Preferred 3 Phase Metering Experience

Two (2+) plus years of customer service experience required

Two (2+) plus years of working with electricity preferred

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis Additional Requirement/Licenses/Certifications: Candidates must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and pass a pre-employment drug screen Education or Formal Training : HS Diploma or GED Notes:
