ABOUT THE ROLE:

Responsible for assisting the Lead Cook in maintaining proper level of cleanliness and order in the kitchen area as agreed upon by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. Responsible for using and storing cleaning chemicals in a safe manner. Responsible for the setup and breakdown of the hot and cold food lines, and proper storage of the food as delegated by Health Department standards. Required to grill, fry, sauté, steam, and bake meats, fish, vegetables, and eggs. Responsible for the preparation of ticketed orders in a timely manner that does not sacrifice quality and presentation of plated dishes. Assisting Lead Cook and Cook II in daily tasks. Ensures all stored food products both prepared and raw are wrapped, labeled, dated, and maintains the proper temperatures as established by the Health Department.
