As Director-Technical Product, In Store Ordering, you will serve as the main point of contact for the next generational Point-Of-Sale (POS), Drive Thru and Kiosk products, driving the product development and market implementation that will serve Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC and Habit Burger Grill’s , restaurants globally. In this role, you will be a partner with the Head of UX and Head of Engineering to build an experience that improves restaurant operations and customer experience when ordering our craveable foods in restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead and mentor team of - product owners to:
Agile Product Development and Delivery Develop and execute a product strategy that is aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Manage the product lifecycle, including defining requirements, setting product goals, leading UAT and managing the entire product development process. Strategic Planning and New Market Onboarding Lead new market discovery sessionsdefining new product capability needs, hardware and system integration requirements, and localization needs for market onboarding. Develop and manage timeline for new market implementations, accountable for coordinating internal and external dependencies and delivering against established business goals/objectives. Stakeholder Management Build trusting relationships to effectively communicate and influence a wide range of stakeholders including cross-functional teams, brand partners, and vendor partners. Lead all product and program reviews with brand stakeholders, effectively communicating program progress and issues/risks to leadership and stakeholders. Minimum Requirements: + years overall experience in engineering and/or technical product, with + years of relevant technical product management experience or equivalent. Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience designing and delivering quality products. Deep technical background that enables them to effectively communicate with the engineering team and break down complex systems into manageable product components and requirements. Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively run product team meetings and executive program updates. A metrics-driven work style that leverages data to make informed decisions. A mind-set towards innovation through a quick test, learn, adapt approach. An ability to manage multiple brands and stakeholders in an iterative process. Proficiency with Product and Program management tools: Visio, JIRA, Confluence; Bonus for custom Jira plugins. BA/BS in software engineering highly preferred (or related) or equivalent experience. Experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, and/or multiunit chain/franchise environment a plus, but not required.
