Description: We do Consulting Differently Position Summary The Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for BRG’s global IT support and infrastructure services. Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, this position oversees Tier 1 Service Desk, Tier 2 IT Operations, Tier 3 System Administration and Provisioning, as well as Customer Quality Assurance, Knowledge Management, ServiceNow administration, and IT communications. As BRG continues to expand globally, this role will ensure that infrastructure services are scalable, secure, and aligned with the firm’s business objectives across our Microsoft-centric environment, with extended presence in Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, and Google Cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage global Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 IT support teams, ensuring high-quality, responsive service delivery to BRG personnel and clients. Ownership of third-party Network Operation Center (NOC) relationship.
Oversee system administration, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management across on-premises and multi-cloud environments (Microsoft, Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, Google Cloud).
Ensure optimal performance of all systems as well as LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
Ensure timely and accurate resolution of incidents and requests; enforce SLAs, escalation procedures, and proactive service improvements.
Own and advance BRG’s ServiceNow platform, including administration, reporting, integration, and expansion of workflows supporting ITSM and ITOM.
Direct the development and execution of knowledge management and customer communications strategies to enhance service transparency, incident awareness, and resolution outcomes.
Establish and enforce global IT operational standards, documentation practices, and technical training programs to ensure consistency and excellence across support tiers.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure is secure, compliant, and resilient.
Provide infrastructure guidance on key strategic initiatives including global office expansion, group hire integrations, and new business onboarding.
Develop and manage infrastructure budgets, capacity planning, vendor partnerships, and procurement strategies in collaboration with FP&A.
Lead post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities with a focus on operational excellence and service reliability.
Qualifications & Skills 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in infrastructure operations or related disciplines.
Proven ability to lead distributed global teams in a high-demand, service-oriented environment.
Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and ServiceNow; working knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle, and IBM cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with system administration, enterprise networking, and endpoint management technologies.
Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work across functions and with senior leadership.
Track record of improving customer satisfaction, team performance, and service delivery operations.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications a plus.
Experience supporting professional services, consulting, or law firm environments strongly preferred.
Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR) in IT operations context.
