NOW HIRING a Director of Human Resources : The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading all aspects of the company's HR function as a department of one, serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team. This role manages day-to-day HR operations while driving initiatives that support talent strategy, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
This is a high-impact role supporting approximately 125 employees (and growing) across 10 branch locations. What will I do?
Develops, implements, and administers HR policies, programs, and practices that enhance the employee experience and align with the bank's goals.
Manages all aspects of day-to-day HR operations as a department of one, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compensation, compliance, and training.
Serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on all human capital matters, including talent planning, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
Designs and delivers employee engagement initiatives and internal communications that promote a high-performing, inclusive workplace.
Develops and implements strategies to enhance employee morale, recognition, and retention.
Maintains accurate and compliant employee records related to pay, benefits, performance, disciplinary actions, and workplace incidents.
Prepares and submits reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Oversees HR vendors, the HRIS (isolved), and external service providers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR functions, including payroll and benefits.
Handles employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion, supporting resolution processes that align with company values.
Leads or contributes to cross-functional initiatives and special projects, often in collaboration with senior leadership.
Provides strategic HR leadership and direction to management and employees across all levels of the organization.
Continuously monitors employment law developments and HR best practices, proactively recommending updates to policies and practices.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS A bachelor's degree in h uman r esources, b usiness a dministration, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of HR experience is required.
Previous leadership experience within an HR department supporting an organization of 100 or more employees is preferred.
An HR certification, such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, is preferred.
Must be able to work from one of our branch locations (Mena, Paris, or Russellville).
