*Job Description:* *CDL A Mechanics/Technicians Average $32-$38 An Hour* We Are Looking for a Diesel Technition - Straight Pay Only $32 - $38 Per Hour Position Overview: Moran Transportation Corporation is seeking a skilled and results-driven Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Elk Grove Village, Illinois facility. This is a first-shift, full-time position offering a dynamic work environment in a fast-paced transportation and logistics setting. Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on company trucks and equipment. * Inspect trucks, trailers and other equipment on a periodic basis. * Conduct preventative maintenance services, including greasing, oil changes, and lubrication of components. * Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. * Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations. * Maintain accurate service records, including parts usage and work performed. * Utilize company-provided service vehicles as needed. * Perform road-side service calls. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are effective. * Document repairs and maintenance performed. * Assist with additional maintenance tasks as assigned by management.
