Diesel Mechanic Key Responsibilities: Diagnose defects in heavy-duty equipment and identify the necessary parts for repair. Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related components. Maintain a safe and organized work area , adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain accurate records and schedules for all maintenance activities. Comply with equipment permitting requirements to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Attend employer paid training workshops to stay current on innovations in equipment operations and repair techniques. Navigate parts inventory databases to ensure timely procurement of materials. Perform welding operations as necessary for equipment repairs. Report unsafe conditions and injuries promptly to facilitate immediate action and prevent further issues. Continuously strive to improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and provide top-quality service to our customers. Diesel Mechanic Requirements: 3-5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a solid understanding of diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment. ASE certification preferred, but not required (Employer will pay for training/certification if willing to get ASE certified). Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety guidelines. Willingness to relocate to Bishop, CA, and become part of a growing community. Has own toolbox High school degree or equivalent and a valid driver’s license Computer literate Eligible to work in the United States Why Join Us?
