Redwood City, CA // AGSF - Platform // Full Time DevOps Engineer Description POSITION DUTIES: Deploy, maintain, upgrade and support large scale, real time, load balanced production infrastructure with F5, ELB, nginx, Akamai. Generate, update and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Haschicorp Terraform on AWS. Establish standards on performance, functionality (collaborating with the devs), and security (collaborating with security engineers). Generate and maintain Ansible playbooks, Puppetcode, and Jenkins pipelines to ensure the CI-CD process. Code review with Github. Participate in an AGILE environment using Kanban, working with developers and ops teams to deliver new features. Maintain and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, and on-prem). Implement and maintain security applications, and comply with security compliance schemes (PCI-DSS, SOX). Participate in on-call duty with, and conduct scripting of troubleshooting procedures with Bash and Python. Position requires Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or computer engineering and minimum of 2 years of experience in the following: BASH, for both scripting and interactive use, traditional shell and automation tools including sed, cron, and rsync; working with networking protocols including IPv4, TCP, DNS, DHCP, 802.1q , and HTTP; cloud technologies including AWS or Google Cloud. Above stated experience must include 1 year of experience in the following which may be gained in a related position: Linux administration; Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration technologies; using Puppet (Puppetcode, hiera, and templates); Network analysis (Tcpdump, Wireshark, Nmap), Datacenter maintenance, CLI git. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, Employer will accept 4 years of experience in the following: BASH, for both scripting and interactive use, traditional shell and automation tools including sed, cron, and rsync; working with networking protocols including IPv4, TCP, DNS, DHCP, 802.1q , and HTTP; cloud technologies including AWS or Google Cloud. Above stated experience must include 1 year of experience in the following which may be gained in a related position: Linux administration; Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration technologies; using Puppet (Puppetcode, hiera, and templates); Network analysis (Tcpdump, Wireshark, Nmap), Datacenter maintenance, and CLI git. HOURS: 40 hrs./week, 8:30AM To 5:30 PM, Mon- Fri. RATE OF PAY: $180,960.00 - $190,960.00 per year. BENEFITS: Health, dental, vision plans; 401(k) + match.
