We're seeking a freelance developer to support the creation of a purpose-built AI agent to automate a specific internal workflow for Horizon Commerce, serving as the GPT agent builder SME on a small project team working within our instance of OpenAI. This agent will be developed entirely within OpenAI's platform ecosystem (e.g. no API or other integrations required) and will focus handling a repetitive internal process, relying on internally provided instructions, documents, and context to complete its tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, prompting, and fine-tuning agents or GPT-based assistants, with a strong understanding of prompt engineering, logic structuring, and user experience within conversational interfaces. Must have experience directly with OpenAI/ChatGPT. Years of experience: Ideally 1 year+ of doing the above.

Salary Range: $48.08 to $57.69 an hour. A successful applicant's actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
