BXDA seeks an experienced Deputy Chief of Human Resources Officer to support its mission.Job ResponsibilitiesImplement industry best HR practices and recommend improvements.Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.Advise on workforce administration, performance management, and related HR functions.Develop SOPs for consistent service delivery across HR units.Engage with city agencies like DCAS, OMB, and NYCAPS.Oversee daily HR operations and workforce planning.Coordinate with EEO and DEI teams to promote inclusivity.Maintain confidentiality of information.Minimum QualificationsBaccalaureate degree with 4 years of relevant experience, including 18 months in a supervisory role, orAssociate degree with 5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience, orHigh school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience, orEquivalent education / experience with at least 18 months in a supervisory role.Preferred Skills10+ years of HR supervisory / managerial experience.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Proficiency with HR systems like NYCAPS, CHRMS, PMS, PRISE, and CityTime.Strong data analytics, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.Knowledge of civil service rules, HR policies, and procedures.Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe.Organized, able to multi-task, and lead organizational change initiatives.This position is open to candidates with a disability through the 55-a Program.
